wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!!!!

2000 pairs of pants donated by Triumph!  How fabulous and generous is that.

This means we have reached 60% of our target in less than a week.  Who knows, at this rate, we maybe able to clad many more bottoms.

Please, don't slow down with your donations - each every pant will be greatly appreciated by us onwards to the ultimate recipients.

IT'S NOT OFTEN WE GET TO SEE EACH OTHER'S PANTS!

In the interests of good promotion we all bravely showed off our knickers for a photo shoot to promote The SPA Way Christmas campaign to collect 3,000 pairs of pants for Crisis at Christmas 2008 - see details below.

It was not without drama.............

WE MANAGED TO LOCK OURSELVES OUT IN THE RAIN - DURRRR..........!!!

BUT OUR HERO, IAN FROM THE GARAGE CAME TO THE RESCUE.  GIVE A MAN A LADDER AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET UP CLOSE TO DOO-DAH'S PANTS - IT WAS A NO BRAINER................BUT IT WAS ALL PROVING A BIT TROUBLESOME FOR RUTH AND RUINING HER NAILS

SO WE HAD TO CALL IN THE HEAVY BRIGADE - HENRY TO THE RESCUE ........(NOT SO MUCH FUN FOR IAN, AT LEAST WE DON'T THINK SO!!)

YPants - The SPA Way 'BIG PANTS APPEAL'

We all take our pants for granted. Most of us have a drawer full – more than enough for a pair a day. Imagine having none.

For the homeless and disadvantaged, something as basic as a pair of pants can be a considerable luxury. 

And whilst we all remember to give our cast-off outer clothes to charity, most of us have never thought about the need for under clothes.  What chance is there for dignity if you have no pants?

The SPA Way has launched its BIG PANTS APPEAL and pledged to collect 3,000 pairs of NEW pants for Crisis at Christmas in London 2008.  This represents the total need of the charity and should ensure every guest leaves the shelter with a pair and a spare.

To achieve this target we are not asking for money.  In the next two weeks we are sending out a sticky label with our address on and ask you put it on a big envelope (the bigger the better!) and invite everyone you know between now and the last week of November to pop a pair in.

Then, when the envelope is bulging, please send it back to us to add to the mega dump bin we have in our reception.

So, the next time you are shopping for underwear or simply passing the racks in M&S en-route to ready meals, add a pair (or a multi-pack) of men’s pants to your basket. 

Together we can reach the target.

It's been a cracking start to the 'autumn term' with several exciting new business wins including Anglia Ruskin University and Safe Estates - vacant property protection services.

In spite of the credit crunch, which is undoubtedly affecting a few clients, we have 5 major new business presentations to make in competitive pitches all within the next 8 days, so it's all hands to the pump at present!
